DESCRIPTION
Join us to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Mudder’s Day Madness! Since 2022 marks 10 years of getting muddy for a great cause, we are making this year’s Mudder’s Day Madness bigger and muddier than ever! New this year – run a 10k to celebrate 10 years! We are still having our 5k, so you can choose between the two options!

This exciting course takes runners through Montvale’s beautiful property while getting muddy on 18 obstacles including a muddy slide, a sludgy army crawl, and a jump in the lake. Proceeds benefit the work of Harmony Family Center at historic Camp Montvale to ensure that this special place remains a space for connection and restoration for years to come.   • Racers can begin bag check at 9 am and groups will begin staggered starts at 10 am.
  • Teams must start and finish together.
  • Ages 8 and up are allowed to participate. The trail is challenging, we ask that parents or guardians stick close to their children on the course.
  • You will be running on uneven terrain with wet and muddy obstacles, the use of headphones, baby strollers, bicycles, roller blades, and pets are prohibited.
  • Changing areas will be provided post-race.
  • Plan to stay for the after party with food trucks, games and music.

REGISTRATION
Online registration is available through May 5, 2022. Guaranteed shirt cut-off is April 19th at noon! Shirts and bibs must be picked up in advance of the race.

RACE PACKET PICK-UP
Packet pick-up will be held on Wednesday, May 4 – Friday, May 6 at Harmony Family Center in West Knoxville and at a The Steel Room in Maryville.

T-SHIRTS: T-shirts guaranteed for all who register by NOON on April 19, 2022.
PRIZES
Prizes will be awarded to the overall top three male and female finishers, and top three team finishers (teams must start and finish together) will be awarded the day of the race once final results are determined.

TIMING
This event is timed electronically with a timing chip attached to your race bib. Your race number/chip is programmed to coincide with your individual race number. During the event, you will cross mats that will record your time from your disposable race bib. Please do not BEND, TEAR OR ALTER your race number. Runners must wear the bibs on the FRONT of their person, and must wear the bib number associated with their name.

RESULTS
Timing services are provided by Personal Best Racing. Results will be available at www.RunSignUp.com.

WEATHER DELAY/CANCELLATIONS
The Executive Director and Race Director will monitor the weather and make a decision if any action will be taken to modify the race. Possible changes include: Altering the start time, altering the course, or in extreme situations cancellation of the event. Visible lightning occurring within 30 minutes of the scheduled start will cause the race to be postponed for a minimum of 30 minutes. Additional sightings will continue to delay the race in 30-minute increments up to a maximum of 3 delays.
Race personnel reserve the right to delay, cancel, or suspend the race or modify the course due to inclement weather. As stated on registration and race pages, there are no refunds or transfers. Participants must abandon the race if ordered to do so by the race personnel, medical staff, fire/paramedics or police personnel.
