Date, Time, and Place: Saturday, July 15, 2023 at 7:00 am for the Kids Mile and 7:30 am for the 10K and 5k Races. Starts and Finishes at the Springbrook Pool at 636 Vose Road, Alcoa, TN 37701.
Directions: From Knoxville go south on Highway 129 (Alcoa Highway) to East Hunt Road exit. Take East Hunt Road and turn right on Springbrook Road. Go approximately 1 mile and turn left on Faraday Street. Springbrook Pool is on your right. Please watch for ongoing Alcoa Highway construction in 2023.
For local Blount County residents, a bicycle rack is available at Springbrook Pool if you want to bike to the race site using the Greenway system. Please secure your bike and belongings.
Parking: Parking is available at several lots nearby. These include the Springbrook Pool parking lot, the Springbrook Recreation Center parking lot, or Alcoa Little League Park lot. Other nearby lots are at Alcoa First United Methodist Church and Alcoa Elementary School. Please be responsible at all church, school and public parking lots and make sure to properly dispose of your trash. Please do NOT park in the condominium parking across from the pool.
Course Description and Highlights: USATF certified. Starts on Springbrook Rd by the pool and runs out to greenway and does an out and back towards Clayton, utilizing part of the new greenway.

5k-Early Bird Pricing: through 4/9 : $25. Normal Registration: 4/10-6/30 $30. Late Registration: 07/1-07/14 $35. Day of Registration: $40
10K Early Bird Pricing through 4/9: $30, Normal Registration: 4/10-6/30 $35, Late Registration: 7/1-7/14 $40, Day of Registration: $45
Kid’s mile:$10 through 6/30 late registration-$15 7/1-7/15
Towels: Pre-registered runners will receive a custom beach towel on race day (no t-shirts). Late Registrants will receive towels as supplies last.
Refreshments: Post Race Refreshments and swimming will be provided for all runners and walkers at the pool. Please bring your own refreshments if you have specific dietary needs or food allergies.
Awards: Awards to the top 3 Overall, top Masters (As defined by fastest person age 40 and above, not limited to 40-49) Grandmasters (As defined by fastest person age 50 and above, not limited to 50-59), Senior Grandmasters (As defined by fastest person age 60 and above, not limited to 60-69) male and female. Age Divisions will be in 10 year increments (five deep). Awards to the top Clydesdale (male, 200 lbs+) and Athena
(female, 150 lbs+). Overall winners not eligible for age division awards. Awards must be picked up during the awards ceremony. Awards will not be mailed.
