Mission

The Knoxville Track Club encourages life-long physical well-being through running and walking.

Vision

Healthy living, healthy community – one step at a time.

Purpose

With more than 2000 members, the KTC is one of the largest running clubs of its kind in the country. KTC is a member of the USATF, AAU, Road Runners Club of America, Knoxville Area Chamber of Commerce, Blount County-Blount Partnership, and the Knox Area Greenways Coalition.

Playing an active role in Knoxville and surrounding counties, we raise monies at our own races, as well as assist others for a variety of worthy causes, including the Variety – the Children’s Charity, Knox Greenways Coalition, Legacy Parks, Ijams Nature Center, the Urban Wilderness, the Arthritis Foundation, Tennessee School for the Deaf, local youth organizations and others. We support high school, middle school and elementary school track and field and cross country programs, and direct the Volunteer Track Classic Series. We give financial support to the University of Tennessee Women’s and Men’s Track Teams.

Our KTC Officials Association assists in and trains officials for area track and field meets.
