KTC Grand Prix

Overview

The KTC Grand Prix is a series of races taking place over the course of a calendar year. Distances range from the mile to the marathon and include both road and trail races.

Individuals can accumulate points by placing in any one of the overall or age divisions. The individual with the most points will receive the Hal W. Canfield Award. Awards 10 deep in both female and male divisions will be presented at the New Year’s Day race.

In order to qualify for an award, an individual must be a current KTC member and volunteer at least three Knoxville Track Club events.

Team Competition

Individuals who have registered for a team (with 5 or more members) during online registration receive a $5 discount and can accumulate team points for the year-long team competition. Any points an individual scores while registered for a team will be added to that team’s points in the team competition. The team with the largest total number of points at the end of the year will receive the Eddie Reymond Cup.

Team members MUST register during online registration in order for their points to count for their team. Race day registrants will not score team points.

NOTE: Virtual events do not count toward Grand Prix individual or team points, unless otherwise noted.
