For many years, the Knoxville Track Club has supported the efforts of local students and awarded scholarships to graduating high school seniors. In addition to the Hal Canfield Memorial Scholarship detailed below, local seniors now have the opportunity to apply for one of four $2,500 scholarships.
To apply for one of these four scholarships, please follow the steps below before January 31, 2025:

- Have one letter of reference submitted to info@ktc.org by the scholarship deadline.
The deadline for consideration of these awards is January 31, 2025.
In 2009, the Knoxville Track Club set out to honor the life and legacy of Hal Canfield, one of the founders of the track club. In partnership with the East Tennessee Foundation, KTC annually awards two $1,000 scholarships to graduating high school seniors from our area. - Residency Requirement: Anderson, Blount, Campbell, Grainger, Jefferson, Knox (TN), Loudon, Roane, Sevier, or Union County
- Education Requirement: Graduating high school seniors
- Field of Study: Not Applicable
- GPA Minimum: 3.0
- College/Enrollment Requirement: Full-time enrollment at an accredited not-for-profit college or university
- Financial Need: Not Applicable
- Additional Requirements:
- Participation in the Knoxville Track Club is required, with preference given to applicants who display passion for KTC and running, and who have given back to the KTC.
- U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residence
