Join us on the campus of Johnson University for our annual Josh Teegarden Memorial 5K Walk/Run to benefit the Josh Teegarden Memorial Scholarship Fund.
Who is Josh Teegarden? A former Johnson University student, Josh Teegarden was tragically killed on the mission field in the summer of 2004. As a way to honor his memory, his family set up a scholarship fund at Johnson University to help assist students studying for a career in intercultural service. Josh was passionate about missions and helping others, and he was also passionate about running so his family decided to combine to two things and start the Joshua Teegarden Memorial 5K Run/Walk.
When: Saturday, September 30, 2023
Check-in, Walk-up Registration: 8:00-8:45 a.m.
Walk/Run Starts: 9:00 a.m.
Where: Johnson University (7900 Johnson Drive, Knoxville, TN 37998)
Students (elementary-college): $10 before 9/15, $15 after 9/15.
All Other Participants: $20 before 9/15, $25 after 9/15.
Virtual Participants: $20
Those who register early will receive a “Move for Missions” t-shirt provided by the Teegarden family. Other participants who register after September 15 will receive a t-shirt while supplies last.
